Third stock post. I purchased twenty five shares of VF Corp for $63.54 per share.VF Corporation is an American clothing corporation. VF corporation sells jeanswear, underwear, daypacks, and workwear. The corporate headquarters are in Greensboro North Carolina. The reason I purchased VF Corp is because they are a huge maker of clothes and are a company that own smaller clothing companies. Their 52 week low is $43.94 and their 52 week high is $63.99. All of the charts that I have looked at about VF Corp have been pretty steady. They do not tend to dip too much and when they raise it usually stays steady.

My second stock post, I purchased zumiez and Alaska airlines. These are both companies that I support very much. I buy tons of stuff from zumiez and everywhere I fly I fly with Alaska airlines. I purchased 20 shares of Alaska airlines for $95.44 per share. Today they are currently down 80 cents. I purchased 4 shares of zumiez for $25.18 per share. Neither of these stocks really have a catalyst or anything like that that I purchased them for. They are just both companies that I support and spend a lot of money in and so I thought It would be a good idea to invest in them, even if they don't make me much money.

For my first stock post, I traded coca cola and purchased Halliburton. I purchased five shares of coca cola at $38.36 a share and sold all five socks for $38.36 per share. I had had coca cola for a couple of weeks and it wasn't making me any money even though it was staying pretty constant in price but I decided to sell it. I purchased 33 stocks of Halliburton $59.95 a share. I researched coca cola and the are one of the most steady stocks in the market.

the similarities between 21 and investing are high risk high reward, being consistant pays off, and alcohol and money never mix. the more money that you bet in black jack the greater of a reward you can get. when you're betting makesure to stay consistant with your noney wether its betting or putting your money in the stock market. lastly, drinking and money dont go together . dont play poket drunk and dont invest in stocks when you're drunk. for differences in 21 you are actually handling the money and in the market your money is working for you.

When I walked in the lights were off and there was loud music playing and there was a video of the stock market was playing. I started grabbing as much candy and money as I could and I started putting them in my pockets. Everyone was kind of just sitting around any first because no one knew what to do. Once we all figured out the jist of it we started trading our candy and money stocks. It was super hot and sweaty in the room and every couple minutes Kapptie would make and announcement and change the prices of our candy srocks . It was a super good experience to do first hand what the stocks are like and what its like to be down on the floor of the stock market.

Dear Myself,
The three most important traits to have are honesty, patience, and integrity. Honesty because if you are not honest and you lie all of the time no one is going to trust you and it will be impossible to find a job because no one can believe you. Patience because you are going to have to wait on people for you entire life for almost everything so patience is a good virtue to have. And integrity because integrity is who you are when no one is looking and even if no body sees it you should still do the right thing all the time and not just to look good when someone is watching.
Love,
Heston

I think that we should get rid of daylight savings time. A lot of different studies show that daylight savings time doesn't actually save money like it is designed to but it actually loses money for businesses. Businesses also say that the Monday after day light savings everybody is really groggy and tired and no body likes it so let's get rid of it.

In February Kalei, Matt, and I figured out what exactly we were going to be doing. We will be seeing if having high school students in an elementary class will promote them to be more active. The plan is to go to the southside elementary school during 7th and 8th period every other week. The question we are asking is will having a high school student in the class room make kids want be more physically active. Then based apon the results maybe we could have a athlete go to the gym class everyday so that kids we will fit and not obese.
For March we need to talk to Wiz and other teachers about our idea and plan. Once we have done that we all begin collecting our data from coach Wiz on how exited the student are while we are there compared to when we aren't there to play. We are hoping that the student will react by loving it when we are there.

Kalei Smith, Matt Sweet and myself made our decision for our 20% project. We are going to be promoting physical fitness with the second graders at South Side elementary. We are going to go to south side 8th period and play with the second graders during PE and we are going to investigate the lunch room and stuff. Our main question is what is the biggest cause of child good obesity.

I personally think that raising the national minimum wage would not do us any good. During the debate I was on the against side and i found out some very interesting things that would happen if we did raise the national minimum wage. First of all, it would cause inflation. Second, it would most likely raise the national debt. And third, it would put many people out of jobs. I think that the minimum wage should stay were it is.
