In February Kalei, Matt, and I figured out what exactly we were going to be doing. We will be seeing if having high school students in an elementary class will promote them to be more active. The plan is to go to the southside elementary school during 7th and 8th period every other week. The question we are asking is will having a high school student in the class room make kids want be more physically active. Then based apon the results maybe we could have a athlete go to the gym class everyday so that kids we will fit and not obese.
For March we need to talk to Wiz and other teachers about our idea and plan. Once we have done that we all begin collecting our data from coach Wiz on how exited the student are while we are there compared to when we aren't there to play. We are hoping that the student will react by loving it when we are there.

Kalei Smith, Matt Sweet and myself made our decision for our 20% project. We are going to be promoting physical fitness with the second graders at South Side elementary. We are going to go to south side 8th period and play with the second graders during PE and we are going to investigate the lunch room and stuff. Our main question is what is the biggest cause of child good obesity.

I personally think that raising the national minimum wage would not do us any good. During the debate I was on the against side and i found out some very interesting things that would happen if we did raise the national minimum wage. First of all, it would cause inflation. Second, it would most likely raise the national debt. And third, it would put many people out of jobs. I think that the minimum wage should stay were it is.
